Hand in Hand is a project of the Newcastle Central and East Circuit of the Methodist Church.
Our geographical area is Benton / Coxlodge / Gosforth / Heaton / Jesmond / Kingston Park /
Longbenton / Newcastle City Centre / Wallsend / Westmoor / Wideopen.
Through friendship and compassion we provide support to elderly people who are socially isolated and often living alone. We want to see elderly people actively engaging in their community, being treated with dignity and respect, and no longer subject to loneliness and isolation. We achieve this through our befriending service and weekly clubs.
