Be a Volunteer

We need volunteers in a wide range of roles to support the project. Without them Hand in Hand would not exist.
We are looking for friendly and reliable people of all ages and from all walks of life to join our team of volunteers.
Befrienders visit our elderly clients at home, encouraging and enabling them to reduce any feelings of social isolation, by talking and interacting, and when appropriate, supporting them on trips out.
We have volunteers who assist at our Clubs, interacting with members, helping with activities as well as serving meals/refreshments, washing dishes and clearing tables.
We also have a wide range of other Volunteer roles, vital to our on-going project. These include Mini Bus Driver, Escort for Mini Bus, Cook, Photographer, Marketing, Graphic and Web Design.
As well as Permanent Volunteers, we also have Flexible Volunteers, who may not be able to give a regular commitment, but who could be cover at times of holidays and sickness.
